My Story
About Paul Strike
Described as "a craftsman of creativity," I’ve dedicated my professional career to proving that change is always possible, even in the largest, most complex organizations.
Starting out as a graphic designer, working at a small advertising agency in Melbourne, I soon after, found myself advising Fortune 100 and 500 executives on their product design and customer experience journey. But the barriers to change I saw across their organizations weren't technical. They were cultural and organizational. Inertia, politics, dysfunction, as well an underdeveloped workforce, stopped good ideas from being experimented with or even being heard, which in turn promoted a counter-intuitive message from senior management - We will keep doing as we’ve always done, but continue to expect very different results.
In response, I became obsessed with the real mechanisms behind organizational change and digital transformation, which were the levers that actually produced new behaviors and shared values. Over time, driving proactive approaches to capability development, co-creation and collaboration that included more inclusive approaches to human-centered design and digital product strategy.
For years, my work has been recognized for its creativity and ingenuity through evidence-based research and a forward-thinking, design-driven approach to transformation. This methodology consistently yields outstanding results, capturing the attention of clients, customers, and prestigious industry institutions worldwide.
Leadership
Leadership is not about being in charge, it’s about taking care of people in your charge. It’s a privileged position that draws on social influence to maximize the collective efforts of others towards the achievement of a common goal. As an influential player/coach, I’ve subscribed to this belief for more than two decades, consistently demonstrating core leadership attributes like humility, empathy, inclusive creativity and self-awareness.
This guiding philosophy is how I show up, radiating a value proposition that is bigger than ones self and grounded in a deep belief that I’m always available to those who need me most.
I’m a pioneer at heart, proactively applying the core principles of Human-Centered Design that puts people at the heart of the process, solving the most important cultural and technological challenges for business success and customer prosperity.

My influence extends beyond the workplace, as evidenced by active leadership in the design and user experience community. I'm a sought-after speaker who has actively participated at prestigious events like CXFS, UXDX and Design Thinking USA. Receiving recognition for Product Design and Innovation excellence from institutions such as Canstar, 5 Star Ratings, Marcom, W3 and Web Awards Inc.
